The ADS8698IDBTR is an 8-channel integrated data acquisition system based on an 18-bit successive approximation register (SAR) analog-to-digital converter (ADC), with a working throughput of up to 500kSPS. This device provides an integrated analog front-end circuit for each input channel (overvoltage protection up to ±20V), an 8-channel multiplexer supporting both automatic and manual scanning modes, and an on-chip reference voltage of 4.096V with low temperature drift.

In addition, the ADS8698IDBTR provides a simple serial interface compatible with the Serial Peripheral Interface (SPI) for digital hosts, and supports the connection of multiple devices in a Daisy chain manner. The digital power supply can provide voltages within the range of 1.65V to 5.25V, and thus can be directly connected to various host controllers.
