The LTC2208IUP is a 130Msps, 16-bit A/D converter designed for digitising high-frequency, wide dynamic range signals with input frequencies up to 700MHz. The input range of this ADC can be optimised using a PGA front end.
The LTC2208IUP is ideal for demanding communication applications, featuring AC performance including a 78dBFS noise floor and 100dB spur-free dynamic range (SFDR). Ultra-low jitter of 70fsRMS enables undersampling at high input frequencies and exceptional noise performance. Maximum DC specifications include ±4LSB INL and ±1LSB DNL (no missing codes).
Digital outputs can be differential LVDS or single-ended CMOS. CMOS outputs offer two format options: a single bus operating at full data rate or a multiplexed bus operating at half data rate. A separate output power supply allows the CMOS output swing to vary between 0.5V and 3.3V.
A sine wave, PECL, LVDS, TTL, or CMOS input can be used to drive the ENC+ and ENC¯ inputs differentially or single-ended. An optional clock duty cycle stabiliser achieves high performance at full speed and under various clock duty cycle conditions.
