The ADS1115IDGSR is a 16-bit low-power precision analogue-to-digital converter (ADC) that is I2C-compatible and comes in a leadless VSSOP-10 package. The ADS1115IDGSR device features a low-drift voltage reference and oscillator. It also includes a programmable gain amplifier (PGA) and a digital comparator. In addition to these features, these devices offer a wide operating supply voltage range, making them ideal for power-constrained and space-constrained sensor measurement applications.
The ADS1115IDGSR device achieves a maximum data conversion rate of 860 samples per second (SPS). The PGA provides an input range from ±256mV to ±6.144V, enabling precise measurement of both small and large signals. The ADS1115IDGSR includes an input multiplexer (MUX) that supports dual differential input or quad single-ended input measurements. Digital comparators in the ADS1115IDGSR enable under-voltage and over-voltage detection.
