The LT6108IDCB-1 is a complete high-end current sensing device featuring a precise current sensing amplifier, an integrated voltage reference, and a comparator. The LT6108IDCB-1 includes a latch comparator, and the current sensing amplifier as well as the comparator inputs and outputs are directly accessible. The amplifier gain and comparator threshold are configured via external resistors. The open-drain comparator output enables easy connection to other system components.

The LT6108IDCB-1 has a total propagation delay of just 1.4μs (typical), enabling rapid response to overcurrent conditions. A 1MHz bandwidth allows the LT6108IDCB-1 to be used for error detection in critical applications such as motor control. The comparator's high threshold accuracy, combined with the ability to lock the comparator, ensures the LT6108IDCB-1's capability to capture high-speed events.
