The MAX11101EUB low-power, 14-bit analog-to-digital converter (ADC) adopts a successive approximation architecture and features an automatic shutdown function, a fast 1.1µs wake-up function, and a high-speed SPI/QSPI™/MICROWIRE® compatible interface. The MAX11101EUB is powered by a +5V single-channel analog power supply. The independent digital power supply pins allow the device to be directly connected to digital logic levels ranging from 2.7V to 5.25V.
At the maximum sampling rate of 200ksps, the typical current loss of MAX11101EUB is 2.45mA. At a sampling rate of 200ksps (maximum value), when VAVDD = VDVDD = 5V, the typical power consumption is 12.25mW. At A sampling rate of 10ksps, the AutoShutdown™ function can reduce the power supply current to 140µA. If the sampling rate is further reduced, the current can be lowered to below 10µA.
