The MAX11160EUB is a 16-bit, 500ksps, (SAR) analog-to-digital converter ADC, featuring outstanding AC and DC performance, supporting a truly unipolar input range, and featuring a small size and built-in reference. The MAX11160EUB can measure an input range of +5V (0 to 5V) and is powered by a single 5V power supply. This ADC integrates a low-drift reference with an internal buffer, thereby saving the cost and space of an external reference.
In addition, the MAX11160EUB is compatible with serial communication via SPI and operates at logic levels of 2.3V, 3V, 3.3V or 5V. The serial interface can connect multiple ADCs in Daisy chain form for multi-channel applications; The device offers a "busy" indication option to simplify system synchronization and timing.
