The MP2984GR is a high-efficiency, synchronous, 4-switch boost controller that enables regulation of different output voltages over a wide input voltage (VIN) range for USB powered (PD) applications in USB Type-C power supplies. The output voltage (VOUT), VOUT slope, and output constant current limit are configurable through the serial interface.

With valley current control in buck mode and peak current control in boost mode, the MP2984GR provides fast load transient response and smooth boost and ramp mode transients. Its forced continuous conduction mode (FCCM) and adjustable current limit support flexible designs for a variety of applications.

The MP2984GR has comprehensive protection features including adjustable overcurrent protection (OCP), overvoltage protection (OVP), and VIN undervoltage lockout (UVLO) hysteresis.

The MP2984GR is available in a QFN-32 (4mmx4mm) package.
