The NCP13992ABDR2G is a high performance current mode controller for half-bridge resonant converters. This controller implements a 600V gate driver, simplifying the layout and reducing the number of external components required. A built-in undervoltage input function simplifies the implementation of the controller in all applications. In applications requiring a PFC preamp, the NCP13992 has a dedicated output to drive the PFC controller. This feature combined with dedicated Skip mode technology further improves light load energy efficiency throughout the application.The NCP13992 provides a suite of protection features for safe operation in any application. These include: overload protection, overcurrent protection against hard switching cycles, undervoltage detection, open optocoupler detection, automatic dead time regulation, overvoltage (OVP) and over temperature (OTP) protection.
