The ADS8598SIPM device is an 8-channel integrated data acquisition (DAQ) system based on an 18-bit successive approximation (SAR) analog-to-digital converter (ADC). All input channels are sampled simultaneously to achieve a maximum throughput of 200kSPS per channel. Each channel of this device has a complete analog front end (AFE), which includes a programmable gain amplifier (PGA) with an input impedance of up to 1MΩ, input clamp, low-pass filter and ADC input driver.
