Overview:

The LTC2996HDD is a highly accurate temperature sensor with adjustable over-temperature and under-temperature thresholds and an open drain alarm output. The device provides accurate temperature results to ±1°C using either the commonly used NPN or PNP transistors or the temperature diodes built into newer digital devices. A 1.8V reference output simplifies threshold setting and can be used as an ADC reference input.
