The HMC517LC4TR chip is a high dynamic range GaAs pHEMT MMIC low noise amplifier (LNA) in a RoHS compliant lead-free SMT package. The HMC517LC4 has a small signal gain of 19 dB, a noise figure of 2.5 dB, and an output IP3 of +23 dBm. The +13 dBm P1dB output power allows the LNA to be used as a LO driver for balanced I/Q or image suppression mixers. The +13 dBm P1dB output power allows the LNA to also be used as a LO driver for a balanced, I/Q, or image suppression mixer, and the HMC517LC4 allows for surface mount manufacturing techniques.
