The LT4276BIUFD is a pin-to-pin compatible IEEE 802.3 and LTPoE++ receiving device (PD) controller. The device includes an isolated switching regulator capable of performing synchronous operations in forward and flyback topologies with auxiliary power support capability. The LT4276BIUFD is a fully IEEE 802.3at 25.5W Type 2 (PoE+) compliant PD.

The LT4276BIUFD supports forward and flyback power topologies and can be configured for a wide range of PoE applications. Flyback topology supports No-Opto feedback. The auxiliary input voltage can be accurately detected with a single resistance divider connected to the AUX pin.

The LT4276BIUFD has the following features:

External hot-swapable N-channel MOSFETs are used to achieve the lowest power dissipation and highest system efficiency

An end-to-end efficiency of >94% can be achieved with the LT4321 ideal diode bridge

Available in a 28-pin 4mm x 5mm QFN package
