The PD77728ILQ-0111 is a fully integrated 8-port PoE controller and PoE manager that integrates field-effect transistor (FET) switches and current detection resistors. Up to 12 devices can be cascaded to provide 48 4-pair ports. According to IEEE regulations, the device supports PoE power receiving device (PD) detection, classification, power-on and protection, as well as traditional/pre-standard PD detection. PD77728ILQ-0111 provides real-time protection against overload, underload, overvoltage, overheating and short circuit, and can operate in independent mode. This device adopts a 56-pin 8mm × 8mm QFN package.
