The TPS613226ADBVT is a synchronous boost converter with a quiescent current of only 6.5µA. The TPS61322 provides a power solution for products powered by alkaline, NiMH rechargeable, or single-cell Li-ion batteries. The boost converter is based on a hysteresis-controlled topology using synchronous rectification to achieve the highest efficiency with the lowest quiescent current. the TPS613226ADBVT also supports the use of small external inductors and capacitors. efficiency is greater than 90% when converting from a 1.5V input to a 2.2V output under a 10mA load.

The TPS613226ADBVT can also support high output current applications with an external Schottky diode. Using an external Schottky diode in parallel with the internal rectifier FET, the TPS613226ADBVT can provide an output current capability of greater than 500mA for 3V input to 5V output voltage conversion.

The output voltage can be set internally to a fixed output in the range of 1.8V to 5.5V in 0.1V increments. Therefore, only two external components are required to achieve the desired output voltage, and the TPS613226ADBVT also features thermal shutdown protection.
