The MAX2678GTB Amplifier IC is suitable for automotive and Marine GPS/GNSS satellite navigation antenna modules, or any application requiring compensation for cable losses from the antenna to the receiver. Two unconditionally stable low-noise amplifier stages provide high gain and integrated I/O matching to minimize the use of external matching elements and additional gain stages.

The MAX2678GTB can optionally place a ceramic or surface acoustic wave (SAW) bandpass filter between the two amplifier stages to improve immunity to out-of-band interference signals. In addition, the MAX2678GTB offers a 3.4dB gain step to compensate for variations in cable loss between applications.
