The LM5168FDDAR synchronous buck converter is designed to regulate over a wide input voltage range to minimise the need for external surge suppression components. 50ns minimum controllable on-time facilitates a large step-down conversion ratio and supports direct step-down conversions from a nominal 48V input to a low voltage rail, reducing system complexity and solution cost. The LM516x is capable of operating at nearly 100% duty cycle as needed during input voltage dips down to 6V, making it ideal for industrial and high-cell-count battery pack applications with a wide input supply voltage range.
