The TLE9241QUXUMA1 is an integrated circuit (IC) for an automatic transmission control module. Includes two gate drive outputs to control a high-side switch for reverse polarity protection, usually used to cut off power to the control module when the module is asleep. Two high-side gate drive channels are also included for controlling two "safety" switches. These switches are usually used to provide power to the transmission solenoid. The device also provides interfaces for eight dual-wire Hall effect sensors, four of which can be used for position sensors and the other four for position or speed sensors.
