The MAX7365EWA70 I2C interface peripheral provides up to 56 key switch management for the microprocessor.
Each time a key is pressed or released, a key value is generated, simplifying the design of the multi-key input scheme. Adopt static key input monitoring instead of dynamic scanning mode to ensure low EMI operation. Metal switches or resistive (carbon) switches up to 5kΩ can be adopted.
The MAX7365EWA70 features automatic sleep and wake-up functions, thereby maintaining the lowest device power consumption. After one programmable sleep cycle, the automatic sleep function places the device in A low-power state (typically 1µA). When a key operation event occurs, the automatic wake-up function configuration device returns from the sleep state to the normal working mode.
