The MAX20458ATID/VY is an automotive grade PMIC consisting of a synchronous buck converter and an asynchronous boost controller with 2.1MHz and 400kHz switching frequency options. the boost controller can be used to power the buck converter, allowing it to remain in a regulated state during a cold start from a battery input as low as 2V. The device operates from a 3.5V to 36V input voltage and can be operated in a low dropout regulated state with a 95% duty cycle. The device can operate in applications with a wide input voltage range and medium to high power requirements, such as automotive cold start or engine start-stop conditions.
