The ADUM4160BRWZ is a USB port isolator based on ADI's iCoupler® technology. It combines high-speed CMOS process with monolithic hollow transformer technology to provide excellent performance and is easily integrated with low - and full-speed USB-compatible peripherals.

The ADuM4160 combines the edge-detection-based iCoupler technology with internal logic for a transparent, easy-to-configure, upstream facing port isolator. Isolating upstream ports has many advantages, such as simple circuits, power management, and robust operation.
