The ADF4158WCCPZ is a 6.1 GHz fractional-N crossover frequency synthesiser with modulation and waveform generation capability, containing 25-bit fixed modulus to provide sub-Hertz frequency resolution at 6.1 GHz. It consists of a low-noise digital frequency discriminator (PFD), a precision charge pump and a programmable reference divider. The device has a built-in sigma-delta type fractional interpolator that enables a programmable modulo fractional N divider.The INT and FRAC registers can form a total N divider (N = INT + (FRAC/225).
