The ADF4152HVBCPZ is a 5.0 GHz fractional N division or integer N division frequency synthesizer with integrated high voltage charge pump. The frequency synthesizer can directly drive an external wideband volt-controlled oscillator (VCO), enabling higher tuning voltages without the need for an op-amp. An integrated high voltage charge pump can simplify the design and reduce costs while improving phase noise, which tends to be reduced in active filter topologies compared to passive filter topologies.
