When used in conjunction with an external loop filter and an external voltage reference, the ADF5610BCCZ implements a fractional-N or integer-N phase-locked loop (PLL) frequency synthesizer. This wideband microwave voltage-controlled oscillator (VCO) design allows operation in the frequency range of 7300 MHz to 14600 MHz at a single radio frequency (RF) output. A series of frequency dividers with differential frequency outputs support operation in the frequency range from 57 MHz to 14600 MHz. The voltage range of analog and digital power supplies for PLL circuits is 3.1 V to 3.5 V, and the voltage of VCO power supplies is between 4.75 V and 5.25 V. The charge pump supply voltage can be extended up to 3.6 V for improved band overlap and extended upper frequency range.
