The ADF4157BCPZ is a 6 GHz, fractional N frequency division synthesizer with 25 bit fixed modulus and sub-hertz frequency resolution at 6 GHz. The ADF4157BCPZ includes a low noise digital phase discriminator, a precision charge pump, and a programmable reference divider. The fractional interpolator based on ∑-Δ realizes the programmable fractional N frequency division.

The ADF4157BCPZ is used in a wide variety of applications requiring high performance frequency synthesis, including but not limited to:
