When the ADF5612CCCZ device is used in combination with an external loop filter and an external reference voltage source, it can achieve a fractional N frequency division or integer N frequency division phase-locked loop (PLL) frequency synthesizer. The broadband microwave voltage-controlled oscillator (VCO) design enables frequency operation ranging from 7300MHz to 8500MHz on a single RF output. A series of frequency dividers with differential frequency output allow operation within the range of 57MHz to 8500MHz. The analog and digital power supply range of the PLL circuit is from 3.15V to 3.45V, and the VCO power supply range is between 4.75V and 5.25V.
