The MAX98397EWB+T is a high-efficiency, mono Class DG speaker amplifier with industry-excellent quiescent power consumption, integrated speaker current and voltage sense (IVSENSE), power-down protection engine (BPE), and dynamic margin tracking (DHT). The device also facilitates ultrasonic applications by supporting sampling rates up to 192kHz, higher passbands (for fS > 50kHz) and providing a bypass path for ultrasonic signals passing through the amplifier so that they are not attenuated by audio processing. With high precision output current monitoring (ISENSE) and voltage monitoring (VSENSE), the host device is able to run loudspeaker protection algorithms. Spread Spectrum Modulation (SSM) and Edge Rate Control fully reduces EMI and eliminates the need for output filtering as in traditional Class D devices.
