The ISL9122AIIHZ is a flexible boost-and-roll switching regulator with bypass mode support that delivers ultra-low quiescent current (IQ) and supports 1.8V to 5.5V battery power to extend the battery life of smart IoT devices powered by coin cell batteries, Li-Ion batteries, and multiple series-connected alkaline battery packs.

The ISL9122A boost regulator, an ultra-low IQ switching regulator, powers Renesas' RL78 product family of 8-/16-bit ultra-low-power MCUs, the RA product family of 32-bit MCUs with Arm® Cortex®-M cores, and the RE product family of embedded controllers for wearables and energy harvesting applications.
