The LDL40PU50RY is a high precision voltage regulator designed for direct connection to automotive batteries in automotive applications or common batteries in industrial applications. The extended input voltage of up to 40 V enables the device to support load dump transients typical of automotive systems. Ultra-low quiescent current at light loads extends battery life in systems that are always in standby mode. The device is stabilised with small ceramic capacitors at the input and output.
