The MAX77812DEWB buck regulator is a configurable four-phase, high-current regulator for multi-core application processors in smartphones and tablets. The buck regulator features a small inductor and output capacitor for extremely good transient response and a miniature PCB footprint. The flexible architecture supports user-selectable phase configurations of 4, 3+1, 2+2, 2+1+1, and 1+1+1+1. The buck regulators feature an I2C-compatible 2-wire serial interface that includes a bidirectional serial data line (SDA) and serial clock line (SCL).
