The MP3324GRE is an 8-channel white LED (WLED) driver that operates over a wide input voltage (VIN) range of 4V to 16V. Eight internal current sources are provided for each LED string. The LED current (ILED) for each channel is set by an external current setting resistor. The maximum current per channel is 100mA (when VIN ≥ 4.5V). The device integrates an I2C interface. There are ten different I2C addresses, which can be configured by external resistors. This means that the device can support up to ten integrated circuits driving LED arrays in cascade.
