The LT3761AEMSE is a DC/DC controller designed to be used as a constant current source and constant voltage regulator. It has a programmable internal PWM dimming signal. Ideal for driving high current LEDs, it also features battery and supercapacitor charging. The fixed-frequency, current-mode architecture provides stable operation over a wide range of supply and output voltages. Voltage feedback pins can be used as inputs for multiple LED protection functions and also allow the converter to operate as a constant voltage source. The frequency adjustment pin allows the user to program the frequency from 100kHz to 1MHz to optimise efficiency, performance or external component size.
