The STEC01PUR Ground Path Safety Switch is an integrated programmable 12mΩ power switch managed by a timer-based circuit.The STEC01 is equipped with 3 timers designed to interrupt the ground path of a power application. This is done after the maximum on-time, which can limit platform restarts during the cooling window. Other features include a maximum on-time that can be set from a few seconds to several hundred seconds and a programmable cooling window of 1, 5 and 20 minutes.The STEC01 sets the timing via 3 multi-stage input pins plus a programmable oscillator and a fixed oscillator.
