The SI8735BC-ISR isolator is pin compatible, single channel, inserted to replace popular optocouplers, with a data rate of up to 15 Mbps. The advantages of isolating high-speed digital signals and providing performance, reliability, and flexibility are not applicable to optocoupler solutions. It is a proprietary CMOS isolation technology based on Sky Engineering for low-power and high-speed operation, and can resist wear effects found in optocouplers, which will decrease performance with increasing temperature, forward current, and device age.
