The NCV70514MW007AR2G is a microstepping motor driver for bipolar stepper motors. The chip interfaces with an external microprocessor via IO pins and the SPI interface.The NCV70514MW007AR2G contains a current conversion table that adopts the next microstepping based on the clock signal on the NXT input pins and the state of the DIR (Direction) register or input pins. The chip provides an error message if a stall, electrical error, undervoltage, or elevated junction temperature is detected. It uses a proprietary PWM algorithm for reliable current control. Fully compliant with automotive voltage requirements, the NCV70514MW007AR2G is ideally suited for general-purpose stepper motor applications in automotive, industrial, medical and marine environments. Due to its technology, this device is particularly well suited for applications using fluctuating battery power.
