The TPS78425BQWDRBRQ1 ultra-low dropout regulator (LDO) is a small, low quiescent current LDO that delivers 300mA with excellent line and load transient performance.
With low output noise and excellent PSRR performance, the device is suitable for powering sensitive analogue loads. With an input voltage range of 1.65V to 6.0V and an adjustable output voltage range of 1.2V to 5.5V, the TPS784-Q1 is a flexible post regulator. It also offers a fixed output voltage of 0.65V to 5.0V to power common voltage rails.
The TPS784-Q1 features foldback current limiting to reduce power dissipation during overcurrent conditions, and an EN-side input helps meet the system's power supply timing requirements. Internal soft-start reduces inrush current by controlling the startup process, thereby reducing the input capacitance used.
The TPS784-Q1 provides an active pull-down circuit that allows the output load to discharge quickly when disabled.
