The TVP5160PNP device is a high-quality digital video decoder that converts and decodes all common baseband analogue video formats into digital component video. The TVP5160PNP decoder supports analogue-to-digital conversion of component YPbPr and RGB (SCART) signals, as well as analogue-to-digital conversion and decoding of NTSC, PAL, and SECAM composite video and S-Video signals, converting them into component YCbCr format. Additionally, component progressive scan signals can also be digitally processed. The chip integrates two 11-bit, 60 MSPS analogue-to-digital converters (ADCs). Before each ADC, each analogue channel includes an analogue circuit that clamps the input signal to a reference voltage and applies programmable gain and offset. A total of 12 video input terminals can be configured, supporting combinations of YPbPr, RGB, CVBS, and S-Video video inputs.
