The MAX77831BEWB is a high-efficiency, high-performance buck-boost converter for systems requiring a wide input voltage range (2.5V to 16V). It features a switching current of 7A and an output current of up to 6A in buck mode and up to 4A in boost mode (the output current in boost mode is equal to the output current in buck mode). The IC's default output voltage is 5V when an internal feedback resistor is used, and the IC can also be configured to any default output voltage between 3V and 15V when an external feedback resistor is used.
