The MAX20343BEWE is an ultra-low quiescent current, in-phase boost/buck converter with 1A @ 3.5V current drive capability for applications requiring long runtimes with high burst currents. The devices feature a proprietary control algorithm that smoothly switches between buck, boost/buck, and step-up modes to minimize output voltage ripple discontinuities and sub-harmonics. 1.9V low start-up input voltage allows users to power the devices from a variety of sources, and the near-zero minimum operating voltage allows users to take full advantage of the energy efficiency. The MAX20343BEWE is also designed to minimize inductance and output capacitance requirements for space-constrained applications.
The MAX20343BEWE supports a highly configurable I2C serial interface or a fixed-setting version with single-pin support. The device operates over the -40°C to +85°C temperature range and is available in a 16-ball, 1.77mm x 2.01mm, 0.4mm pitch WLP package.
