Product Description

The MAX17574ATG is a high efficiency, high voltage, synchronous step-down DC-DC converter with a built-in MOSFET that operates over a 4.5V to 60V input voltage range. The converters can deliver up to 3A of current. The output voltage can be set from 0.9V up to 90% of VIN. feedback voltage regulation accuracy is ±0.9% over the -40°C to +125°C temperature range.


The MAX17574ATG utilizes a peak current mode control architecture. The device can operate under pulse width modulation (PWM), pulse frequency modulation (PFM), or discontinuous conduction mode (DCM) control methods. A programmable soft-start feature allows the user to reduce input inrush current. The device also features an output enable/undervoltage lockout pin (EN/UVLO) that allows the user to turn the device on when the input voltage reaches the appropriate requirement. When the output voltage reaches the regulated range, a low active RESET open-drain output is triggered after a certain delay to provide a power-ready indication for the system.


The MAX17574ATG is available in a 24-pin (4mm x 5mm) TQFN package. Emulation mode is provided.
