Product Description

The MAX77541AAWV is a high-efficiency buck converter with two 3A switching phases for single-cell Li-ion batteries and 5VDC systems. It utilizes an adaptive COT (constant on-time) current-mode control architecture, and the two 3A switching phases can be configured as one (2Φ, 6A) or two (1Φ each, 3A) outputs. The output voltage is resistively preset and can be further adjusted via an I2C-compatible interface.The MAX77541AAWV offers 91% peak efficiency, low quiescent current, and a compact solution size that is ideal for battery-powered, space-constrained devices.

Programmable soft start/stop and ramp up/down swing rates

Pre-biased startup and active output discharge

Programmable inductor peak current limit for optimized solution sizing

Nominal switching frequency: 0.5/1.0/1.6MHz

EMI reduction through spread spectrum modulation

Internal/external frequency tracking

Recognition VOUT and phase configuration via RSEL1 and RSEL2 settings

I2C slave ADDR, ILIM and FSW presets via RCFG

Dedicated ENx, POKx and FPWMx for each buck converter

UVLO, thermal shutdown and short circuit protection

High-speed I2C serial I/F

Available in 30-WLP (2.51mm x 2.31mm x 0.7mm) package
