The TLE75008ESD is an SPI-controlled 8-channel low-side switch from Infineon's new SPIDER+ family.The SPIDER+ products improve and add features such as start-up functionality, very low current consumption in sleep mode, improved thermal performance, enhanced diagnostics via SPI (16-bit) and input mapping functionality for two direct inputs. Input status registers combined with an output status monitor and an open load on OFF detection trace the entire path from the microcontroller to the load. A fail-safe mode (Limp Home) provided by the battery maintains functionality even without digital voltage supply. Short-circuit, over-current, and over-temperature shutdowns ensure load and switch protection.The TLE75008ESD is designed to drive small loads in automotive and industrial applications in the small PG-TSDSO-24-21 package (150 mil).
