The NCV7754DPR2G is an automotive-grade 8-channel low-side drive that offers up to 500 mA of drive capability per channel. Output control is carried out through the SPI port, which can conveniently report faults in open-circuit loads (or short circuits to ground), overloads and over-temperature conditions. In addition, the parallel control of the output of NCV7754DPR2G can be addressed through the INx pins (in pairs). The dedicated limp-origin mode pins (LHI) enable OUT1-OUT4 while disabling OUT5-OUT8. Each output driver is equipped with overload current protection and includes an output clamp for inductive loads.
