The MAX5216BGUA is a pin-compatible 14-bit and 16-bit digital/analog converter (DAC). The devices use precision external references and support full-swing operation with high resistance inputs to effectively reduce system power consumption. They operate over a wide supply voltage range of 2.7V to 5.25V. Extremely low power consumption, suitable for most low-power, low-voltage applications. Input to output digital noise feedthrough is minimised using SCLK and DIN input buffers (shutdown after completion of serial transmission of each input frame).
