The MAX20006AFOA/VY are small synchronous automotive buck converter devices with integrated high-side and low-side MOSFETs.The device family offers input voltages from 3.5V to 36V, output currents up to 8A, and no-load quiescent currents of only 25μA.Voltage quality can be monitored by observing the RESET signal. The devices operate at 98% duty cycle, making them ideal for automotive applications.

The devices are available with fixed output voltages of 5V and 3.3V, and the output voltage is programmable between 1V and 10V. The frequency is programmable from 220kHz to 2.2MHz via resistors. The devices offer a forced fixed frequency PWM mode (FPWM) and a frequency hopping mode with ultra-low quiescent current. The devices can be factory programmed to enable spread spectrum switching to reduce EMI.

The MAX20006AFOA/VY are available in a small 3.5mm x 3.75mm 17-pin FC2QFN package that utilizes very few external components.
