The AD7915BRMZ is a 16-bit, successive-approximation analogue-to-digital converter (ADC) with a single VDD supply. The device has a built-in low-power, high-speed, 16-bit sampling ADC and a versatile serial interface port. On the rising edge of CNV, the AD7915 samples the voltage difference between the IN+ and IN- pins, which typically swing in opposite phase from 0 V to VREF. The reference voltage (REF) is externally supplied and can be set independently of the supply voltage (VDD). Power consumption and throughput rate vary linearly.
The AD7915 is Serial Peripheral Interface (SPI) compatible and can daisy-chain several ADCs onto a single three-wire bus using the SDI input. It is compatible with 1.8 V, 2.5 V, 3 V and 5 V logic when using a separate power supply VIO.
The AD7915BRMZ is available in a 10-pin MSOP package and operates over the -40°C to +125°C temperature range.
