The AD7190WBRUZ is a low-noise complete analogue front-end for high-precision measurement applications. It integrates a low-noise, 24-bit sigma-delta analogue-to-digital converter (ADC). The on-chip low noise gain stage means that small signals can be input directly.

The device can be configured with two differential inputs or four pseudo-differential inputs. An on-chip channel sequencer enables multiple channels, and the AD7190 performs conversions on each enabled channel in sequence, which simplifies communication with the device. The on-chip 4.92 MHz clock can be used as the clock source for the ADC; alternatively, an external clock or crystal can be used. The device's output data rate can vary from 4.7 Hz to 4.8 kHz.

The device offers two digital filter options. The choice of filter affects the rms noise and noise-free resolution, build-up time, and 50 Hz/60 Hz rejection when operating at the programmed output data rate. For applications that require all conversions to be built up, the AD7190 features zero delay.

The device is powered from a 5 V analogue supply and a 2.7 V to 5.25 V digital supply, consumes 6 mA, and is available in a 24-pin TSSOP package.
