The AD7621ASTZ is a 16-bit, 3 MSPS, charge redistribution SAR-type, fully differential analogue-to-digital converter (ADC) powered by a single 2.5 V supply. The device includes a 16-bit high-speed sampling ADC, an internal conversion clock, an internal reference voltage buffer, error correction circuitry, and serial and parallel system interface ports.
The device features three sampling modes: very high sampling rate mode (Wideband Warp mode) for undersampling applications; fast mode (Normal mode) for asynchronous conversion rate applications; and low power mode (Pulse mode) for low-power applications, where power consumption is proportional to throughput.
The device is available in a 48-pin LQFP or 48-pin LFCSP package and operates over the -40°C to +85°C temperature range.
