The AD7612BSTZ is a 16-bit charge redistribution successive approximation register (SAR) architecture analogue-to-digital converter (ADC) manufactured on ADI's iCMOS high-voltage process. The device's input ranges and operating modes can be configured in hardware or through a dedicated write-only serial configuration port.The AD7612 has a built-in 16-bit high-speed sampling ADC, an internal conversion clock, an internal reference voltage source (and buffer), error-correcting circuits, and serial and parallel system interface ports. On the falling edge of CNVST, it samples the voltage difference between IN+ and IN-. The AD7612 features four different analogue input ranges and three different sampling modes: Warp mode for highest throughput, Normal mode for highest asynchronous throughput, and in Pulse mode, power consumption is linearly proportional to throughput. The operating temperature range is from -40°C to +85°C.
