The LT8610EMSE is a compact, high-efficiency, high-speed synchronous single-chip buck switching regulator with transient current consumption as low as 2.5μA. All necessary circuits are equipped with top and bottom power switches to minimise the need for external components. The low-ripple burst mode maintains high efficiency at extremely low output currents while keeping output ripple below 10mVP-P. The SYNC pin supports synchronization to an external clock. The internal compensation using a peak current mode topology allows the use of small inductors, providing fast transient response and good loop stability. The EN/UV pin has a precise 1V threshold, which can be used to program VIN undervoltage lockout or shut down the LT8610EMSE, reducing the input power supply current to 1μA. During startup, the capacitance on the TR/SS pin can be used to program the output voltage slew rate. The PG flag signals when VOUT is within ±9% of the programmed output voltage or when a fault occurs.
The LT8610EMSE is available in a small 16-pin MSOP package with an exposed pad for low thermal resistance.
