The ISL78235ARZ is a highly efficient, single-chip, synchronous step-down DC/DC converter that can be converted from 2. 7V to 5 5V input power supply. This device adopts a peak current mode control architecture, achieving extremely low duty cycle operation at high frequencies, featuring fast transient response and excellent loop stability.

The ISL78235ARZ can be configured for discontinuous (PFM) or forced continuous (PWM) operation under light load. Forced continuous operation reduces noise and radio frequency interference; Intermittent mode improves efficiency by reducing switching losses under light loads. Under short-circuit and overcurrent conditions, the internal hiccup mode current limiting can provide fault protection. In addition, the ISL78235ARZ also integrates output overvoltage and over-temperature protection. A good power supply monitor indicates when the output is in the adjustment state.
